Pew Upholstery

Church Pew Upholstery

Pew Upholstery
Tired of setting on hard church pews?
If so having your pews upholstered is a great way to add comfort to your existing pews.  Pew Upholstery is the process where the seat, and or back can be upholstered using a high density foam core and cover with a commercial grade fabric. The work can be performed on site without having to remove your church pews. Church Pew Upholstery is quite common today for churches that want a new look but don't want to spend the money to buy new church pews. Pew Upholstery can be done for anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a new pew. If your existing pews are in good condition there is really no need to replace them, simply have them upholstered. The purchase of new pews whether 30 years ago or today is always a major investment for any church no matter large or small. That is why pew upholstery is a great option for any situation where the pews are still in good condition and just need a little more comfort or a new look.

Do you have pews that are already upholstered?
Before
Then we can remove the existing fabric and foam if needed and replace with new high density foam and commercial grade fabric on site and make your pews look like they did when first purchased. This will allow you to keep your pews for many more years and extend the life of your investment. The padding that was used 20-30 years ago had a lot of fillers which causes the foam to break down over time and basically turn to dust. The foams used today in pew upholstery are a non-loaded, polyurethanes which typically have a density of at least 2.5 pounds. Using the poly foams and commercial grade fabrics gives a comfortable installation that will last for generations to come.

There is no need to worry about your pews being damaged in the process because the work can be performed on site without removing them from your place of worship. The pew upholstery crew will set up in your sanctuary and upholster the pews in place. Certain types of pews will require them to be disassembled in order to be reupholstered but once complete the pews are then reassembled and anchored to the floor in their original locations.
