Pew Upholstery

Church Pew Upholstery

Pew Upholstery
Tired of setting on hard church pews?
If so having your pews upholstered is a great way to add comfort to your existing pews.  Pew Upholstery is the process where the seat, and or back can be upholstered using a high density foam core and cover with a commercial grade fabric. The work can be performed on site without having to remove your church pews. Church Pew Upholstery is quite common today for churches that want a new look but don't want to spend the money to buy new church pews. Pew Upholstery can be done for anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a new pew. If your existing pews are in good condition there is really no need to replace them, simply have them upholstered. The purchase of new pews whether 30 years ago or today is always a major investment for any church no matter large or small. That is why pew upholstery is a great option for any situation where the pews are still in good condition and just need a little more comfort or a new look.

Do you have pews that are already upholstered?
Before
Then we can remove the existing fabric and foam if needed and replace with new high density foam and commercial grade fabric on site and make your pews look like they did when first purchased. This will allow you to keep your pews for many more years and extend the life of your investment. The padding that was used 20-30 years ago had a lot of fillers which causes the foam to break down over time and basically turn to dust. The foams used today in pew upholstery are a non-loaded, polyurethanes which typically have a density of at least 2.5 pounds. Using the poly foams and commercial grade fabrics gives a comfortable installation that will last for generations to come.
After

There is no need to worry about your pews being damaged in the process because the work can be performed on site without removing them from your place of worship. The pew upholstery crew will set up in your sanctuary and upholster the pews in place. Certain types of pews will require them to be disassembled in order to be reupholstered but once complete the pews are then reassembled and anchored to the floor in their original locations. If you are still wondering about the process you can check out our pew upholstery video by clicking the link. If you need more information about having your pews upholstered please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you with any questions that you may have.

Baptistry Heaters

Baptistry Heaters by Church Outlet

Purchasing a baptistry heater can seem like a daunting task but we are here to help clear up the confusion! If you have spent much time looking around the internet for baptistry heaters you have seen websites and blogs that try to discredit one another and make their heater appear more than it really is. This blog post will not do that. We are going to just state the facts so that you can make an informed decision.

All of our heaters are manufactured by HydroQuip of Corona, CA. HydroQuip started in the Spa Heater
BES 6000 Baptistry Heater
business more than 30 years ago and eventually made it's way into the baptismal heater market. Built on quality, safety and durability you won't find a better circulation heater. The BES 6000 series baptismal heater is available in both a 5.5kw (BES 6000) and an 11kw (BES 6005). Optional accessories such as auto fill, auto drain, and the BAPside remote (which allows for remote operation up to 25 feet away from the heater unit) are available. A 3/4 horsepower pump pulls the water from the baptistry and pushes it through the heating element then back into the baptismal for an efficient heating process. No need to worry about rust, the pump has no metal parts and the heating element is protected in a stainless steel housing.

So when you are searching the internet for your new or replacement baptistry heater keep these things in mind.
  1. Is the heater UL Listed? The entire unit not just the individual components?
  2. Does the pump have a minimum of 3/4 HP?
  3. Is the housing for the heating element made of stainless steel?
  4. Is the heater thermostatically controlled?
  5. Does the heater offer a control panel that is plug-n-play and allow for add-on accessories?
  6. Does the baptistry heater have Visual Diagnostics so that you can know if something is wrong?
The other thing to keep in mind is that there are many different names for baptistry heaters on the market (PBH by Piedmont Fiberglass, EQAS by Fiberglass Specialties and CR series by ChurchRite) all of which are manufactured by HydroQuip and are private labeled for these companies. Church Outlet has decided to offer the baptismal heaters under the HydroQuip name so that you know what you are getting. If you go to buy a new car (Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, etc.) no matter which one you are loyal to you want to know that you are buying the factory name.

If you still have questions about which baptistry heater is right for your baptismal pool then we encourage you to contact us today and we will gladly assist you in the process. Don't let the confusion keep you from buying the safest, most reliable baptismal heater on the market.
